Our body needs certain enzymes and nutrients to carry out the methylation cycle
Methylation is a process of making molecules stable, which is important for a wide range of metabolic functions in the body.
In brief, it processes DNA and RNA, (reading and storing our genetic information) and repairs DNA.
Methylation is a biochemical process in which methyl groups (CH3, a single carbon atom and three hydrogen atoms) transferred from one molecule to another. It occurs several million times inside the body, producing power/energy to all our cells.
Our body requires a lot of different resources to sustain itself, these recourses include:
Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese, Calcium, Iron, Copper, Phosphorus, Carbons, Oxygen, Hydrogen, Glucose, Proteins, Fats etc
These nurture our brain, hormone, neuron cells.
Our bodies function similarly to a bank account, when our body starts to run low on these resources, it will either try to save the resources or freeze itself. One symptom of this state of being is depression.
However, if we understand what uses up our resources very quickly, we can start to manage our body bank account more effectively.
One way our resources are depleted quickly is through the mind.
Our mind is a fascinating and curious entity. It learns from the womb and during it's formative years that some experiences are a threat. The mind will avoid these threats at all cost.
So when the mind has detected a perceived threat, the brain activates the appropriate electrical circuits which requires valuable resources.
We believe that in any situation we sense and then we react. However, this is not the case. The mind is constantly scanning its database which was established in its formative years. Our mind is avoiding any threat that may occur.
So, the present we are experiencing is perceived from these past experiences. Our brain in turn activates the appropriate responses
For example: heart rate goes up, eyes dilate, run/argue, expectation of taste/smell, what mood to be in....
Based on trillions and trillions of repetitions our mind is predicting every word/action/that may happen next, based on a previous bad experiences!
All these thoughts, produce action, and actions use up your body banks resources to varying degrees...
